Absolutely! Apologia’s Exploring Creation with Marine Biology, 2nd Edition, course satisfies a full-year science credit in either marine biology or marine science, depending on the course codes in your state**  While we highly recommend that students complete all the experiments in the textbook, completing at least two of the three types of labs (which include experimentation, dissection, and microscopy) qualifies marine biology as a lab course.  If you do not have access to a microscope, you could have your students watch and complete the labs from the video instruction.
