When is the microscope and dissection lab equipment needed for Advanced Biology?

Since the microscope and prepared slides are needed for Module 2, you will need to purchase the Advanced Biology Slide Set with Blood Typing Kit prior to starting Exploring Creation with Advanced Biology, 2nd Edition. The Advanced Biology Dissection Specimens Set is not needed until Modules  9, 11, and 16, so we would recommend that you purchase the specimens closer to the time when you will be performing the dissection labs.

Please note: Dissection specimens used within one year will have the best outcomes. The specimens should not be refrigerated or frozen. If the specimens will be stored for more than six months, they should be left in the supplied containers. They are individually vacuum sealed, so as long as the original seals are unbroken, the specimens will remain usable.
