Designed to be taught as the first high school level course (9th grade), Exploring Creation with Biology, 3rd Edition, could be completed by an advanced student in 8th grade. There are no math prerequisites for Biology.
Exploring Creation with Biology, 3rd Edition, could also be done in 10th grade. Keep in mind that it is recommended that all high school students study Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Most colleges and universities require at least two lab sciences on a high school student’s transcript. A student could also choose Advanced Biology or Marine Biology instead of Physics, depending on state and college requirements.
The more science-oriented a student is, the more opportunity that student should have to advance in the sciences. Taking Biology in 9th grade, Chemistry in 10th grade, and Physics in 11th grade leaves the student’s senior year to pursue an advanced science course.
We offer a recommended curriculum path chart as one possible high school science course sequence that a student could pursue. If you’d like to discuss alternate paths, please feel free to reach out to our customer service team.
