To take our Advanced Biology course, students need to have a basic understanding of atoms, ions, and molecules, and the ways in which they interact. They also need to be familiar with osmosis, diffusion, hydrolysis, oxidation, Dalton’s Law of Partial Pressure, and the basics of electromagnetic force, as well as how to read basic chemical formulas and chemical reactions.
