Apologia's notebooking journals provide a place for students to nature journal, complete hands-on activities, draw and color pictures, answer What Do You Remember questions, and take notes about what they've learned in the textbook.
The updated, 2nd Edition notebooking journals are multilevel, enabling parents to choose activity pages that are appropriate for each student. An older student may write a paragraph or essay with an elaborate illustration, while a six-year-old may write one sentence with a stick drawing. Students of all ages will enjoy creating the beautiful, full color miniature books which encourage students to record facts and information learned in each lesson.
Anatomy and Physiology and Chemistry and Physics have junior (K-2nd) and regular (3rd-6th) notebooking journals which can be used together in a multilevel setting. The junior notebooking journals include the same mini-books and topics as the regular notebooking journals, but activities that require more writing have been replaced with coloring pages.
