The Student Notebook is not required for Physical Science 3rd Edition. However, it is strongly recommended; the materials for the student’s science research paper are exclusive to the Student Notebook, and without it the student will not be able to complete the paper. Additionally, the Student Notebook is a great resource to keep the student’s notes, lab reports, and On Your Own questions organized.
